[ it's been a while since the last time he's been in the mines. however, this doesn't necessarily mean he comes any more or less prepared than the last. either way, he's kind of grateful he managed to rope someone into coming with him. whether the other man was particularly jazzed about it or not, achilles has enough enthusiasm for the both of them. he reaches upwards, wrapping his arm around otegine's neck— which is probably uncomfortable considering they're both?? probably holding their weapons too??? ]
