hello mod-chans..... i have some character specific questions,
1. do curses or things that are theoretically adjacent to curses but not quite fall under the nerfs system? even when the curse itself is more like... psychological in nature then magical. it's complicated.
for a character specific tl;dr, owen's Entire Ass Being was damaged by an evil cosmic entity (the moon) so he has two personalities that do not share memories or literally anything but a body. his alt personality is more like... mentally regressing to his childhood self, though, so it's. complicated? but can i just yeet this because nerfs said so and not have to worry about it and regain it never (which is what i imagine the answer will be BUT I NEED TO ASK,)
this is different from the soul damage mentioned below, also, 2. so. say a character has the ability to resurrect themselves but this is because of a incomplete body & soul and they die in the game and are resurrected via the game's mechanics - do they just go back to the state they were in on arrival, or does the Goddess go "hm. let me fix that"? i need to ask because dying all the time is his brand but having no heart (literal) is also his brand. 3. does the "automatically know how to read" the language bit also apply if the character just. doesn't know how to read at all? or does it go off of the literacy level they have for their native tongue? this is such a nitpicky question but maybe it will matter ICly u kno 4. are there other animals on the island....... like dogs, cats, woodland creachers... can we get pets from the island, can i have a cat colony on the farm
