A whisper on the wind catches your ear one day, promising you happiness everlasting and a chance at a new life.

Whether you follow that sweetly whispering voice by your own volition or not, you awake to find yourself on a spawling island lush with forests, mountains and sandy beaches. At the island's heart is a little town bustling with cheerful villagers, but none of them can answer the question of who brought you here or why. That's when a familiar wind whips up anew and that soft, lilting voice from days past finds you anew.

"Welcome to Crescentview, where you will be starting life anew regardless of your past history. You will be each assigned a portion of the land, so tend to it earnestly, and your efforts will be repaid with a bountiful harvest. While you are here, get to know your neighbors and forge bonds that will enhance you as a person as well. Who knows, maybe you will even find candidates for marriage, because I won't let you leave until you get married."

With no further precursor, you are saddled with your own plot of land, a farmhouse just barely fit to live in, and the promise of love and happiness should the Goddess' wishes be fulfilled.

Crescentview is a short-run, panfandom relationship-based game inspired by the Harvest Moon series. Characters are brought onto an island with the intention of farming and getting married. The game will consist of romance-based and slice-of-life events.
