PERMANENT ACTIVITY

Once your character is accepted into the game, please create a top-level within this post to serve as their permanent AC thread. The top-level must include the character's name, canon, and player's name. In addition, each month's activity must be submitted underneath that top-level and nowhere else. As there are no reminders or warnings for AC, players must be diligent about remembering to submit their proof of activity. Although players may submit their AC at any point, whether it's at the beginning of the month or at the end, the deadline is the last day of the month at 11:59pm EST.

Requirements

Players must submit the following for each of their characters to pass AC:

⬥ Twenty comments from your character across two threads.
⬥ A brief summary of what your character is doing, developing, and/or contributing in the game.

Half-Activity

Players with characters who are accepted in the final two weeks of the month must submit half-activity:

⬥ Ten comments from your character across one or more threads.
⬥ A brief summary of what your character is doing, developing, and/or contributing in the game.

Summary Only

Players with characters who are accepted in the final week of the month do not have to submit any threads, but must still submit a summary:

⬥ A brief summary of what your character is doing, developing, and/or contributing in the game.

⬥ Threads must have been started in the current month to count.
⬥ You must still submit a comment under your top-level if you are on hiatus.
⬥ After month one, we are not issuing or allowing any strikes.
⬥ Failure to post AC in time will result in a warning issued via PM, and should players not respond to PMs within 48 hours, they will be swept from the game.
⬥ Any threads submitted for AC cannot be used to claim rewards for the bonus activity. Please see the Bonus Activity page for additional details.

Summary: Syrlya arrived on the island and regarded the Goddess with scrutiny but, ultimately, submitted to completing the taskboard and some of the bingo squares to start farming since he was getting to know the other people dragged here anyway (except Trahearne, he already knew him). He ended up with a modest harvest and flowers from a few seeds, and then celebrated with fellow farmers at the Spring Dance. There he learned about some forced effects that resulted in him going to scold the Goddess and getting cursed for it.

Summary: Well, Syrlya started the month relatively peacefully by participating in the scavenger hunt, phoning in Hot or Not, and getting to meet the new people who arrived just as the season passed. Then he attended Van Zieks' latest meeting attempt where he engaged into the discussion before everything devolved into party games and drinking, and then he spent the hurricane with a hangover and housing a stray Owen. He did attend the date auction and placed a sizable bid on Adelis, until he discovered Trahearne submitted an application for Syrlya without his knowledge and then he flounced for a drink and rage session with Adelis.

Summary: Syrlya went on both his dates from the auction, if only 'date-in-name-only', before being properly confessed to by Trahearne on the return and, after a rocky first date, becoming an official couple. He went along on Ori's group trip to the resort and upon experiencing many painful memories from himself and others swore off ever going there again. He sent many appreciation gifts through the month given the excuse on the task board to do so, and not learning from any other time how group ventures tend to go on this island he went to Lucia's karaoke at her restaurant where a lot of feelings were revealed--some of which he would have preferred weren't. At the end of the month he attended to Mishka's beastening out in the woods as support and possible mercy killing. Thankfully, that part wasn't necessary.
