    Smut Opt-in: Yes please!

    Name: Trahearne
    Canon: Guild Wars 2
Canon point: Post Heart of Thorns
    Age: 26

History: Wiki link! (Supplementary reading: About sylvari 1, 2)
Trahearne's early history is missing from his wiki page, so in 8 sentences: Trahearne is the oldest of the first twelve sylvari born from the Pale Tree. In his Dream before birth, he had a vision that essentially told him his destiny: to cleanse the undead Kingdom of Orr and bring life back to it. And so most of his life was spent alone traversing the dead human kingdom or studying its history, its undead inhabitants, the Risen, and the Elder Dragon that caused the corruption, Zhaitan.

Towards the beginning of the personal story, he returns home to the Grove to assist a young sylvari Valiant (this is Syrlya) with some tasks. Among these is retrieving a thorn of the mother tree that served as a powerful greatsword, Caladbolg, that was thought lost when its original wielder, Firstborn Riannoc, died. After successfully retrieving the blade and avenging Riannoc's death, Trahearne returns to Orr. The rest of his involvement in the story resumes with Claw Island and is detailed briefly the wiki link above.

The commander Trahearne knows will be the same as the one in this game (Syrlya), which means there are specific branches of the story he will have experienced: the Where Life Goes questline, the Vigil's plan to get Caladbolg back, the Vigil's perspective at Claw Island, and the Letting an Innocent Die questline.
Personality: Trahearne is a good person--he's amicable, cordial, can typically get along with all kinds of people, and is good at picking out other's strengths and lifting them up. He is always ready to support others and uses his status and position of power to do just that; despite his resistance to being in the spotlight, he will never hesitate to use the power and resources he has (including people) to further the causes of good. That said, he is a loner, despite his friendly disposition--he avoids crowds and tends to keep to himself, and often needs to be dragged out to gatherings (even when he's the star of the show!). He's a scholar at heart, despite the military role he finds himself in later in life, and typically takes a calm, level-headed approach to things; he isn't afraid of being proved wrong and takes most things as a learning experience. That said, he has a temper and a tendency to give into blinding fury if he sees the things he loves--his mother, his people, those he has taken under his proverbial wing (his boughs?)--threatened, which can ultimately cause more harm than good.
    CRAU: N/A

Powers: Trahearne is a necromancer. In GW2 terms, this means control over death magic and manipulation of life force. He cannot actually bring people back from the dead as that would require a level of magical control that is beyond him, so don't worry about that. While the nature of the abilities change depending on the weapon wielded (range, melee, aoe spells, etc), the essence of the skills remain the same: lifesteal, "blood magic" (i.e. bleeding himself to empower himself), inflicting conditions such as bleeding, fear, torment, and corrupting an enemy's buffs into damaging conditions. On the flip side, that also means he has a lot of powerful supportive skills to remove an ally's debuffs or transfer them to himself, and can even sacrifice some of his health to revive a downed (not dead) ally.

Necromancers also summon undead minions--these minions aren't made from corpses but are instead magical constructs coalesced from flesh and bone they are truly disgusting. These minions are mindless and follow the caster's will only. Trahearne is notable as a more powerful necromancer in that he can summon more minions than a regular necro can.

And finally, a key mechanic is the Death Shroud, wherein he uses accumulated life force (a nebulous resource that comes from attacking and killing enemies) to take on a temporary shadowy form and more potent attacks. His life force acts in place of his regular health pool and is often used to get out of sticky situations.

He also was wielder of a magical sword called Caladbolg and could use its power for things like cleansing rituals, but I don't plan on giving him the sword back as a regain and he can't do those rituals without it so don't worry about that.

Sylvari posses some innate physiological qualities and magical abilities that seem supernatural to other races due to their nature. This includes minor plant manipulation, empathy with plants. Sylvari also have an empathetic connection with one another, can basically ~sense~ each other's presences, and they also photosynthesize (but it's not enough to sustain them in place of food) and bioluminescence at night. Trahearne glows purple :)
Inventory: Literally nothing besides the clothes he grew himself u_u

!! Reminder: the following is filled out OOCly !!
Likes: For lack of a better word for this quality: Brilliant. People who shine, excel, or are even simply passionate about one specific thing--this is all very attractive to Trahearne. He's drawn to people who stand out, who go above and beyond for what they believe in (for good reasons, obviously. begone evildoers!!!!!). Those in which he can find inspiration of any manner quickly go in his good books and his proverbial heart. This isn't exactly a quality but he is also extremely weak to being Perceived--receiving compliments, encouragement, words of concern for who he is instead of his station in life or what he represents makes him very susceptible to catching feels.
Dislikes: Selfishness, a blatant disregard for others. This can range from minor things like acting loud and drunk and being disruptive in a public place to causing a literal massacre. Being condescended to/looked down on really rubs him the wrong way, though that's more because he's not really experienced that than an explicit dislike (but it would make him a feisty bottom tho so idk).
Ideal dates/venues: Trahearne would love to spend quality time alone with his partner. He's not a fan of crowds and so would rather take his date somewhere it can be just the two of them--a long walk in nature, or alone time in a library reading together, or even just a spot to themselves where they can talk at length without interruptions. Even better if the outing is educational or fruitful (not "fruitful" god get your mind out the gutter) in one way or another. Nothing beats a productive date! He is a workaholic.

Partner: randomize me captain (but NOT Syrlya, don't make this easy for them)
Farm Style: Forest preferred, but obviously totally fine with whatever if it's not an option for the randomized partner.
