I want more friends for He Xuan too, even if he's a bum and canonically denies being close to anyone ever even in ghosty times. It does help they're room mates!

But maybe they can fulfill some of those tasks, seeing as he's also born in the summer (or at least I headcanon he's before fall/very late August by some painstaking close attention to details since canon is allergic to birth dates of some characters RIP)

I wouldn't say he works out per say. Also if there's cereal in the house I guess he is "Pours milk into their bowl before the cereal" because that's funny. The wingman sounds also extremely funny but he'd probably be rude about it, though maybe eventually

doing some of the scavenger hunt together would be great! even if gaku would hate that he xuan pours milk in first... but maybe they can talk those things over while going for a run?

also, in terms of the gossip, gaku does know about he xuan and diluc's whole thing now. or he at least suspects it, after talking about both of them with ellis. so i'm sure if gaku attempts to wingman for him, that can come up too

Sorry your room mate is like this, Gaku...but yeah, them chatting bout it during a run sounds good! Technically he doesn't need to even go on a run, but people can say the same about walks through nature, lolol

Also, I'm laughing, god. I am all for that to come up between them as well! It'd be majorly funny to have him react to that knowledge and wingman attempts

also ellis spent the night at their place during the end of december so he xuan does have that knowledge to use against gaku too. nothing happened but gaku will die anyway. they have much to talk about

Sounds good to me! I quickly edited in a wildcard option for my catchall so it can be something like that.

But! Duly noted for potential things he can bring up in turn. :3c He has been assuming that the two of them are an item, so whenever they start talking about relationship stuff, he definitely won't hesitate to point it out. RIP Gaku...and looking forward to it!!
