Personality: Ayato is someone who always seems calm, cool, and collected - and he is, mostly because he’s cunning enough to know he’s always several steps ahead of everyone ahead of him. He’s unpredictable, often playing his cards close to his chest and not being above deception or manipulation to see things resolve the way he wants. He’s intelligent and observant, but not without mischief or compassion, helping those he can and enjoying the brief moments when he is allowed to be anyone not the Yashiro Commissioner as best he can. He will do anything it takes to protect those he holds dear and maintain peace and happiness in Inazuma, and he’s dedicated himself to this so much he spends days working or gathering intel. He’s also fond of teasing people and watching the squirm, finding it to be immensely entertaining even if the other person doesn’t realize they’re being teased.

Powers: Ayato had spent his entire life training in the Kamisato Arts, a wide variety of techniques for the blades and the elements. He was granted a hydro Vision, giving him control over the hydro element - aka water. He’s noted as being quite a powerful swordsman, as well, with exceptional, near superhuman speed. Visions are also noted and demonstrated as having non-combat utility, because it really is just how you can manipulate the elements. Make it rain and all that (but without murder).
