The untimely death of his father and Ordo Favonius' attempts to cover it up jaded him and led him to question what the pursuit of justice really means. Once bright, friendly, and rarely without a smile on his lips, Diluc is quite the opposite now, though he remains a compassionate and duty-driven man beneath his grumbly exterior. As stubborn and doggedly determined as ever, Diluc's goal remains to protect the vulnerable and punish those who would exploit others for their own gain.
