History: I am so sorry.
Personality: Vanitas' default personality is one that is playful and mischievous, unapologetically so, and he likes to cause problems to eventually solve bigger ones. However, he notably keeps people at arm's length and does his best to prevent anyone from getting to know his true self. Vanitas has a dark history that's lead to an immense hatred for both humans and vampires, but the person he hates the most is himself. He has moments in which he breaks character and becomes extremely serious, sometimes to the point of becoming enraged. That aside, deep, deep down is someone who's extremely lonely and craves salvation.
CRAU: -
Powers: Vanitas is an ordinary human...with some quirks. He has accelerated healing, thanks to being experimented on; he's incredibly nimble and resourceful, and unafraid to resort to underhanded tactics to get what he wants; and he's good with knives. Most importantly, he's got The Book of Vanitas, which he uses to heal curse-bearers by freeing their True Name from the clutches of Malnomen. (Malnomen is essentially an affliction on a Vampire's True Name – their entire being – and it corrupts them by making them obsessively desire blood.)
