History: Adelaide’s life didn’t begin the smoothest, and it wouldn’t end all that smoothly either - her parents were not people who wanted a child, and they made sure their daughter knew. She was largely left to fend for herself and spent as much time as possible outside of the house to avoid the explosive fights her parents would get into whenever they were around each other for too long. All of the running around her neighborhood she did instilled a love of, well, running, and Adelaide pursued track and field in school in the hopes that she could gain a scholarship and get a ride to a college far, far away from her home. This plan actually mostly worked out for her, too, with her able to supplement the rest of her college costs with grants and loans she might have a chance to pay back later. She enjoyed college, able to live her life and make friends and simply enjoy living without worrying about what was waiting for her back home, but all good things must come to an end and Adelaide had an important life lesson to learn. Don’t make friends with powerful vampires who have powerful enemies, because that’ll suck and you will die. Maybe get turned into a vampire, too, which is exactly what happened to Adelaide - turns out powerful vampires indirectly responsible for your death can feel guilt, even if turning a corpse is a bit… risky. Being newly undead didn’t stop Adelaide from wanting to live her life to the fullest, though, even if navigating the supernatural world isn’t something she’s incredibly equipped for.
Personality: Adelaide isn’t the sort of person who lets shitty things happening to or around her weigh her down for very long - she’ll aggressively bounce back, always coming across as cheerful and friendly. She loves taking care of people, though sometimes this leads to her stubbornly bowling over them because she thinks she knows what’s best regardless of whether she does or not. It’s not because she doesn’t listen to people or that she’s that egotistical - it’s simply that Adelaide can’t stand inaction, and will drag people into making moves they might not be willing to make just yet without considering that sometimes it’s best to take things slow. She'll give everything she has to anyone who asks her - or anyone who doesn't ask her - and she wants little more than for everyone around her to be happy, comfortable, and safe. Overall, she tries to be kind, and caring, and she tries not to let herself be sad, which will absolutely never bite her in the ass.
CRAU: N/A
Powers: Her vampiric abilities are pretty classic - superhuman speed and strength, the ability to transform into animals (though her best would be bats and dogs), flight, ability to scale walls. She’s best with any of these more physical abilities, especially as she was already quite fit in life. Her sense of hearing and smell are greatly enhanced, but no other sense has been changed by her turning. She still needs contacts, even.
She also possesses hypnotic charm, able to (theoretically) hypnotize people into doing whatever she wants them to do, but she’s not particularly good at it and at most has only been able to use it to convince people to try her new recipes.
While technically immortal, her unorthodox turning means she doesn’t heal the way a normal vampire would, and needs outside assistance from a doctor or healer to reattach body parts or patch up any wounds. She’s immune to poisons and can no longer feel pain very well, at least.
Also, she needs to drink blood to survive. She’s capable of eating and drinking normal food and meats will tide her over if times are desperate, but she will need to take a sippy every so often to keep going. While she doesn’t need to drink as frequently as a vampire turned before the moment of death, when hunger sets in she tends to more easily fall into a frenzy. She tries not to let that happen.
She also will not die in the sunlight - it’s simply incredibly uncomfortable, and too much direct exposure will lead to her feeling ill and weak, up to the point of fainting.

Ideal dates/venues: Cooking dinner together at either of their places, goofing off and then eating whatever it is they manage to make while watching bad movies together. Alternatively something a bit more outdoorsy or thrill-seeker-y, like going to a theme park together or going to the beach.

⬥ Note: Adelaide will maintain her classic vampire abilities... to a degree. Any animal she turns into will look a bit silly and not quite right and she's only half as fast and powerful as she used to be. Her excellent hearing and middling hypnotic charm has not changed. A particularly strong poison may not kill her, but it may incapacitate her for a period of time. Finally, she will still need to drink blood for sustenance. No handy blood packets are available to her, though she may be able to work something out with the doctor if she's in desperate need of blood.
