Canon Point: Pre-"Canon" / Pre-Route Mizuki (It's Complicated)
Age: Physically 29, mentally anywhere between 23-29 (It's Complicated)
History: Ryuki was born with a twin brother to well-off parents, raised well-educated and loved. When he was young, he lost his parents in a freak accident, leaving him and his twin brother to raise themselves; however, when they were both eighteen, his twin brother was also killed in another freak accident when he attempted to apprehend a criminal into the road. Ever since, Ryuki had dedicated himself to pursuing his twin's dream and entered law force, where he eventually was assigned to the special division of ABIS. There, he trained under his senior detective Kaname Date, and had his left eye replaced by an AIball partner named Tama. In February of 2020 at age 23, he was assigned to solve what would come to be known as the Half-Body Serial Killings, but witnessing several deaths, getting blackmailed, and losing his mentor sent him into a destructive and depressive spiral for which he would continue to struggle with for the next six years.
Personality: Ryuki is a hardworking young man and a dedicated member of the special police force, ABIS. Right-minded and striving for justice, he cannot stand wrongdoing and evil, and is often mild-mannered yet genial in his approach. However, due to a series of traumatic events, he has lately been out of commission and is often barely functional, as well as dependent on alcohol, extreme repression, and unofficial therapy from his AI partner to get by. On his worst days, he is prone to psychotic lapses, temporal confusion, and sudden outbursts, and really he just needs to lie down for a good while.
CRAU: N/A
Powers: he has an AIball (prosthetic eyeball) with a personality in it named Tama. She's effectively able to do all the stereotypical fancy sci-fi AI things, like hacking into machines and looking up stuff on the fly, as well as provide other fancy perks like thermographic vision, x-ray vision, zoomed vision, extremely fast visual calculations, et cetera.
Inventory: his AIball in his head... and probably a police badge.
Please let me know if Tama could still be active from the start (depowered, but can still hold a private conversation mentally), or if she'll be totally gone!
